Your mailboxes live on Xdata mail storage — the same operational standard as our other products. You request accounts in the portal; admin and owner review and provision. You do not run your own mail server or hope a free inbox stays online.
Mail data is built with redundancy so a disk, node, or path failure does not take the inbox with it. The system is meant to stay available — send, receive, and open mail even when one side of the stack is being repaired.
Choose how long mail is kept. Retain important threads; keep or expire mail after the number of days you select (for example 30, 90, or longer). That helps compliance, mailbox size, and the simple need to find a message from last quarter.
